Meet Miss Amy

Miss Amy is a Primary Qualified teacher with over 15 years experience teaching in both the Public and Private Sector. She has additional experience working 1:1 and tutoring small groups of students privately for the past 9 years.

Miss Amy is committed to fostering a love of learning in all her students, providing them with a diverse range of tools and strategies to support their learning. She is passionate about immersing students in rich individualised learning experiences that are meaningful and allow for student voice.

Miss Amy has had significant experience working alongside Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Learning support teams in her time teaching in Primary schools. She has also been heavily involved in leading and Coordinating both Early Years Literacy and Numeracy programs within schools. She is familiar with and utilises a wide range of teaching strategies and approaches including ‘VCOP’ Writing program, ‘CAFÉ’ reading program, ‘Independent reading Program’ and THRASS.

Miss Amy looks forward to working alongside her students and their families to ensure an in depth understanding of students individualised learning needs. She looks forward to facilitating students to achieve their individualised upmost potential.
