Meet Mis Meliz

Miss Meliz is a registered paraprofessional who is currently a grade 4 classroom teacher and has experience in a wide range of class settings and teaching models.

Her passion for teaching and education came from an inspirational teacher and their efforts with her students, when she was in primary school.

Since then she strives to understand different learner needs, ensure student engagement and build learning confidence, so that every student has a right fit environment and a growth mindset to flourish. 

Miss Meliz is constantly researching and furthering her knowledge in different learning strategies and techniques to ensure her practise is contemporary and fitting for her students. From this, she aims to make learning a positive, fun and an exciting time for all of her students.
